We have software that enables us to integrate e-mails in to our workflows, and we hold a lot of documentation electronically (which makes it easy for us to deal with queries you may have about your property in future). But we can also do it the traditional way, by post, if you prefer. We want to make the process accessible to you, and to take as much of the frustration as possible away.
It’s difficult to say how long your transaction will take. It’s likely to take four to six weeks, possibly more, to get to the stage of exchange of contracts. The completion date is likely to be at least two weeks after that. The more properties there are in the conveyancing “chain”, the more difficult it is to give accurate estimates, and the longer the process is likely to take.
